What is IDX?
The definition of Internet Data Exchange (also known as IDX) is the system for real estate agents and brokers that allows REALTORS® to show property listings from the MLS on their websites.
Have you ever been on a website and see that there is a search engine that allows you to perform a search for listings? Like on another Agent or Brokerage website? That is an IDX. While some details
may differ between IDX products, they are all public-facing tools that allows the Public to search MLS data. This is done through a feed that goes out to IDX participants.
Who is Qualified for CREN MLS IDX?
Participation in CREN MLS IDX is available to all CREN MLS participants who are REALTORS® who are engaged in real estate brokerage and who consent to display of their listings by other participants.
How do I get an IDX website or IDX on my website? Is there a vendor list?
MLS subscribers have the option of putting an IDX software product on their website or having a vendor build a website to allow their clients to search the MLS. Contact an IDX vendor from our IDX vendor
list below.
